Epic Fall Retreat 2010

Fall 2010 Epic road tripped to Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania to a little retreat center at the top of a mountain to search for the Lord as we faced the challenge of mid-semester blues and our own battles we fight each day walking with the Lord. It was a true blessing a breather for us all, a chance to stop and reflect on the Lord for a few days, away from our lives.
Big Break 2010
March 2010 Epic GMU joined fellow Epic and Cru movements from around the country for a week long spring break missions trip on Panama City Florida Beaches. We witnessed first hand God at work, from support raising to people on the beach accepting Christ. God be praised!
Epic Conference 2010

Jan 15-18th Epic went to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, for a 4 day conference about what it means to be a Hero for Christ. God calls us to resist the urge to live “safely,” not simply to pursue personal success. He calls us to boldly confront wounds from our past in order to live as whole people. He calls us to be part of a movement that will transform our culture for Christ. Real-life heroes are used by God to bring people from death to life. We’ll be posting the mp3′s from the conference shortly so those who couldn’t go maybe benefit from the awesome speaker, Pastor Drew Hyun!
PS: We made a promo video, check it out on YouTube!
Where on earth does evil come from? Is there hope in the midst of evil? Can we even make a difference? On Thursday, October 29th Epic co-sponsored The Veritas Forum, the topic: Addressing the Question of Evil in an Age of Genocide and Terror, and the speaker was Os Guinness, respected author and social critic! For those who went, it was an amazing discussion, the following link is to hear the discussion give in mp3 format as a free download [Right Click - Save As] or steam online! We hope that in the coming weeks and months you continue this fascinating intellectual discuss on evil, pain and violence.
